The National Council of the Boy Scouts of America has established a standard of volunteer Leader Training, which starts with "Youth Protection Training", and the introductory "Fast Start" on-line training, followed by Cub Scout Leader Specific Training, which is aimed at providing adults serving as a Cub Scout Den Leader, Webelos Den Leader, Cubmaster or Committee Member with the tools that they need to succeed in their role as a Cub Scout Volunteer.

The information and training materials provided in this section are intended to assist Cub Scout Trainers deliver the required training to prepare volunteers at the Pack level to serve in the various leadership positions in a Pack.
