Trained Leader

Leader Training Awards
"Benchmarks"

The National Council of the Boy Scouts of America has established a series of Leader Training Awards, which establish the standards of training and key benchmarks that are intended to guide Cub Scout volunteers to becoming quality Cub Scout Leaders. Completion of the minimum level specific training serves as the start point, and each Leader Award includes a tenure for the leadership position.

These Leader Awards should not be viewed as an "award", but rather as a guide to developing the skills needed to function as an effective Cub Scout Leader, and presenting a program that meets the standards of the Boy Scouts of America Quality Unit status.

By selecting the appropriate Leader Training Award knot, it will open a separate window which will contain the Progress Record form for the Leader Training Award knot.
